Who is the toughest person you know in real life?

I work with a guy retired as a Sergeant Major in the USMC after 26 years. Several years were spent with Force Recon. Retired from the Syracuse, NY Police Department.

What makes him so tough? He's died 3 times. Two of those times, he was dead long enough to get a death certificate. His life insurance money was also released. Supposedly he is on his 3rd SSN because of his two death certificates, but I haven't asked him directly.

He is the bionic man. Nearly every joint in his body has been rebuilt or replaced several times in his life. The left side of his torso is peppered with shrapnel and gunshot scars. His legs are basically flesh over metal, with a few synthetic tendons thrown in.

You know the only thing he bitches about? He can't scratch his ass with his left hand.

My x gf's daddy. Steve nicnamed snap, was a bad motherfuger no poo. Shot in the chest once, flicked his cigarette ashes in the hole waiting for the ambulance to come. In and out of prison, would stab you in second. Swear to God the man was made of rawhide over concrete.

Picture this guy but without the charm..

    • I don't do locks lol. I just bet +1000 and up and can hit at a decent rate. Combine ml winners and team shots on target. Do better in champions league than anything else
    • Did not expect this from national media. https://www.foxsports.com/stories/nfl/10-best-nfl-defenses-2026-texans-seahawks-broncos 10. Carolina Panthers   Key additions: OLB Jaelan Phillips (FA), LB Devin Lloyd (FA), DT Lee Hunter (draft) Key losses: DT A’Shawn Robinson (FA) Don’t be surprised to see the Panthers, who ranked 15th in points allowed and 16th in yards given up last season, make the leap into the top-10 conversation in 2026.  They added two of the marquee defensive free agents in edge rusher Jaelan Phillips and linebacker Devin Lloyd. Cornerback Jaycee Horn is coming off back-to-back Pro Bowl seasons. Carolina lost starting defensive tackle A’Shawn Robinson in free agency but essentially replaced him with second-round pick Lee Hunter, who had 10.5 tackles for loss at Texas Tech last season.  Ejiro Evero, one of the NFL’s most respected defensive coordinators, has plenty of talent to work with.
    • unless you have a bonafide superstar at Qb you bring in competition every year until you do & or at the very least you want a legitimate plan B in case of an injury .the problem in Carolina is they know Bryce ayoung most likely could not actually win a real legitimate NFL Qb competition right now & if & when he did not win that aforesaid Qb competition it would not only be a major distraction but a setback to his overall development.& moreover once the fans realized they had a much better Qb on the roster it would be alot of public pressure to start the better Qb  ...just saying
