Hulu

You can still get some stuff on Hulu for free but yea the service cost. It's owned by Rupert Murdoch and you know how he's trying to charge for all of his services. I tried the Hulu free trial but it pissed me off because if I was going to pay however much Hulu Plus (around $10) why the hell do I still have to look at ads? Hulu plus has some decent stuff on there but I much prefer my Netflix (which is pretty much becoming a streaming TV show database anyways). The only thing I use Hulu for now is if I want to watch Family Guy on my laptop because as I said Rupert Murdoch is a dick and won't put his shows on the actual Fox website like other reasonable networks.

Yeah natural progression to losing viewers

only a dumbass would assume there would be no benefit to reap by charging a monthly service fee.. trust me, whoever runs hulu isn't missing out from the leaches who want poo free..

no they won't. netflix only offers tv shows in the form of a DVD.. meaning the season is long over.

plenty of people want to watch shows the date of viewing.

also, there are plenty of people who use hulu as their TV provider.. on top of that, there are millions of people who truly believe you must pay to watch (even if its a luxury).

hulu isn't hurting at all.. (except, they are missing out on the people who weren't going to pay for Ish anyway... and obviously, advertising is still in play)

    • this     I never cease to be amazed at the number of people who will run up their blood pressure to get to the grocery store 30 seconds faster or are racing to get to work like it won’t be there at 8:02.   The only thing I’ve ever done that I think added more years to my life besides quitting smoking, was to learn to go with the flow behind the wheel.
    • The term you're looking for is "malinger(ed)", and he didn't.  I'm not sure why Panthers fans act like jaded ex girlfriends.  The dude is clearly injury prone as his time in San Fransico also proves. It's not like he got to San Fran and stopped having problems.
    • My long and rambling post:   The guy is all heart, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he came back even better next year. He’s exactly the guy you lock up. The money won’t ever change the way he plays.  It was a big fumble, but what 1,000 yard back fumbles once in an entire season?  Pride. This team is FINALLY seeing guys who obviously take the game very seriously. Hunt, Chuba, Thielen, Brown, Horn (CB), Coker, Bryce (IMHO). Bye bye, Spider-Man. I don’t see these dudes being OK with teammates half-assing practice or in games. I can see Brown and Horn coming over to talk to somebody.  Good team? Ummm, maybe, but will still likely lose more close games than they win unless this last draft turns in to LOB part 2. That’s a stretch.  Pretty good/decent team. Yes. They finished the season as a pretty good team. I know I sound like a broken record harping back to it, but going in to ATL and putting a 40 burger on them en route to an OT win. A bad Panthers team would have had their brakes beaten off. We’ve seen it.  Rose colored glasses on and bonging a 40 of hopium: There are watershed moments that occur that change the course of franchises, both good and bad. If Fox doesn’t pull Rodney at halftime, the epic journey that was 2003 never happens. On the negative side, Cam taking that one hit from Watt was the end of any and all Panthers relevancy and we’ve been the biggest losers in all of pro sports as a result. Watershed moments. LOB draft. Vinny goes down and the goat is born.  Will the ATL game be the spark that this franchise has desperately needed? Could it be that they hit the mega million jackpot with Princley and Scourton as eat QBs for breakfast? Sure would be nice having 2 all-pro edge guys on the cheap for the next 4 years.  A lot of unknowns, but at least it actually feels  fun again.
