Would you tank the season for Harrison Barnes?

I love the Bobcats, but we aren't getting anywhere with our current roster. I love the idea of getting a big time free agent, but when teams like the Knicks & Lakers will both be looking to add a max contract within the next two seasons, why would someone choose Charlotte?

I think we could probably put together a solid .500 team and maybe make the playoffs as a 7th or 8th seed, but is that good enough? I hate the idea of losing on purpose, but I'm so sick of mediocrity in Carolina sports. I'd rather they go all in for a legitimate super star potential player in HB40 instead of making the playoffs as an 8th seed and getting swept or not making the playoffs at all.

No, there is soooooooooooo much talent in next year's draft, if you believe everyone that came back and most of the top freshman will bolt, that you are gonna get a great talent anywhere in the lottery.

I never believe in tanking especially since we are in playoff contention. I hate getting the 7th or 8th and getting swept but I will never support a team tanking it.

Who else do you see? The guy is big and strong as an ox. Can score just about anyway and can overpower most PF's and many C's.

Howard probably has the best body that the NBA has ever seen. Sullinger has a lot to do before he can even enter the same planet as Howard in both looks and talent.

Are we sure we have our first round pick next year? I would hate to pull a Clippers and tank for somebody else. That said I would take Sullinger right now. It's a long time until the draft though.

As long as its top 14 they do, otherwise it goes to the Bulls for the TT trade.

    • Exactly He's played two seasons and started 28 games. He's well beyond the point of being able to point to 2 or 3 games and being able to say, "THAT is the QB he is and will be in the future" Of course he can get there, but anyone trying to use just those couple of games to rank his place amongst the games QB's today and their full career's worth of playing at that level, is just asinine. Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, Burrow, Hurts, Herbert, Daniels, Stafford, Goff, Geno, Purdy, Baker, Love, Dak, Tua, Kyler, Lawrence That's 17 QB's right there that have played better over their careers than Bryce has played at his best.  And I'm not saying they're all studs or guys I'd want to be our QB moving forward, Tua for example I wouldn't touch with a 10 foot pole, but his body of work is a million times better than Bryce's has been. It's also not including any of the other QB's drafted in 2023/2024 other than Daniels. So again, say you believe in Bryce, say you think he's going to prove he can and should be our QB of the future, that's all fair and totally fine. But nobody can say he's been an above average QB in his career thus far, it's just an asinine notion.
    • I'd think we could get one of those from Dallas for... whatever.
