We had to go to Raleigh to pick up the check. :D

So far, I've taken Casey shopping and got her purple highlights. Chris went to Lowes and bought the stuff for the front porch. We're redoing it and putting a roof on it. Went ahead and prepaid the truck payment and some other bills. And, we gotta get a new washer. I'm using the one we have until it completely dies, though.

All I'm getting is one friggin Lippman nail polish for $18.

I heard through a person I know that happens to work at our local walmart that the general manager was in today as well as store manager and staff managers. I decided to go on down and work my magic. I also wore a cute booby shirt for just in case.

When I got there they were walking around the store critiquing everything and everyone and having their minions run around like little robots doing everything they were told to do.

They were all standing around and I walked right up to the GM and told him my situation as well as the names of all the people I talked to. I brought all my online info with me for proof of purchase.

He seemed shocked I was treated the way I was. He told me he would do his best to make me happy. Right now he's got the staff manager calling other walmart stores. He said if they could find one better he'd give it to me for the same price. I really hope he's being honest with me.

Yay, great news!

I just got the call and the manager said he got it and it's bigger than what she initially wanted. She's ecstatic, and is hurrying getting dressed so we can go get it.

It's strange how Walmart's managers are incredibly nice and helpful but their other staff is incredibly ignorant and pain in the asses.

      Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.

      I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......

      Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
