Gantt and the Observer on Jimmy Clausen, Jonathan Stewart, and Charles Johnson

Has Stewart ever really come through when we've really needed him?

I think of Steelers 10, Vikings 09, and maybe Bears 08 of games where he's really turned it on and carried the team.

How bout the Tampa Bay game in 09 where he and DeAngelo played out of their fugging skulls?

Also NYG 08 (I think) where he had something like 209 rushing yards.

Wat

Where is Samuel L. Jackson when you need him?

The tampa games in 08 and 09 weren't that great. The o-line was blocking very, very well as well as NYG. I'm talking about the times when we're playing a D that's on. Williams has been able to keep up with a good D while it seems like Stewart gets tripped up.

Jonathan Stewart says hello.

Edit: lol that's probably the worst tackling in the history of professional football.

But lol @ "The Tampa Bay games weren't that great"

The TB MNF game was maybe one of the most complete performances in our short history.

What is it about Panthers fans that we have to try to put down even our good players?

the tampa MNF was one of the best regular season games ever, but it was a complete game like you said. I'm talking about games where Stewart has geniunely carried the team. The day he rushed for 200+ against NYG brad hoover ripped off an 18 yarder, anybody could have gone for 200+ on them.

Bears 08, Steelers 10, and Vikings 09 are the only games I can think of where we've played a good defense and he's been the difference maker. We lost the Steelers game but he still played pretty well.
