1. Opportunity

We live in the land of it. It's knocking. And all the other adages -- all true.

2. The Interstate Highway System.

Road trip! Jack Kerouac, Hunter S. Thompson, Chevy Chase -- and you.

3. The Sears Tower

Naming rights are well and good, but the Willis Tower is still Sears (SHLD) to us -- and still the nation's tallest building.

4. Wal-Mart employees in Joplin, Mo.

Store employees saved lives during the tornado. Now that's service.

5. Navy Seals

They get the big jobs done, and they don't talk about it.

6. ESPN

More than sports, it's a cradle of pop culture, coming from an unlikely-ville: Bristol, Conn.

7. FedEx

The iconic trucks with their orange-and-purple trim always come through.

8. Steve Jobs

The brain behind the iPhone, iPad, and iEverything finally managed to get the Beatles onto iTunes. What can't this guy do?

9. Whole Foods

It's a locavore market, it's a scene -- and if you bring your own reusable bag, most stores will knock a dime off the bill.

10. Microsoft Word

RTF, PDF -- these mean little to us. The doc is king.

    • Btw... only Mitch fugging Marner has a better +/- than Key 🔑!!! And, Mitchy needed 5 more games and almost 100 more shifts to get there.
    • I was honestly flabbergasted to see Rod send out Stanky and the boys to to matchup against their top line to start the game. The reason that line has been so effective is because they've been matched mostly against 2nd and 3rd lines all year. You've got last change. Use it to your advantage.
    • Nobody played well on defense last night. But, the vitriol towards Chatfield (and to a lesser extent, K'andre) is bigly misplaced. People (not just you) just refuse to accept how bad Slavin has been this season. And, I get it. Canes fans (and informed analysts) have spent nearly a decade trying to explain to casuals just how good Jaccccob is at hockey. 4Nations happened and the hockey watching public started to listen. National media even started floating the idea of creating a new award in his honor. Then this season, he gets hurt. It happens. NBD. But, when he finally came back, it wasn't the same. He'll get back to his old self in no time. Probably just some rust, it'll be fine. Only, it wasnt rust, and he's not fine. He's bad right now. It wasnt just last night. Although, that was absolutely the worst game of his NHL career. Slavin (-4) currently has the 3rd worst +/- of anyone left in the playoffs. We've  been begging the world to recognize Jaccob Slavin's greatness. And, by the time we finally got people to listen, he shits the bed! I blame Kash!
