My beautiful boy was bitten tonight in the eye buy a rat. He is almost 7 years old he was caught on the top of the head and under the eye.

:(

I'm praying he doesn't loose his eye.

I dont want too hear feed him dead rats he wont eat them, I tried many times I thought he would starve to death and when I gave him a live rat he was in heaven.

I have to wait till Wed to get him to a reptile vet but they wont be able to do much for him.

Hope he turns out ok. But, I thought your kid was bit in the eye by a rat, and before I saw the picture after opening the thread, I couldn't really understand how that happened.

Mine was only a year or so old. Im sure his will be ok. Sucks about the eye tho.

He had a lot of blood coming from the eye but he finished the rat off and swallowed him. He loves to eat he is not afraid of anything so I hope he doesn't get scared of rats and die of starvation cptx.

I was trying my best to wash his eye out with warm water, I don't like messing with him when he finishes eating so he doesn't throw it up. He is in his cave now so I cant see what's going on..:( This day sucks.

Best thing would probably be to cause him as little stress as possible for a couple days.
