Update: The snake appears to be doing good. I'm still concerned about his eye but right now it's clear and black with no white or fogginess. He had a long cut on his head but after cleaning it appears to be healing nice and just a small scar.

Thank you all for the prayers and concern after a couple of more days I will feel better about his eye.

Hope he turns out ok. But, I thought your kid was bit in the eye by a rat, and before I saw the picture after opening the thread, I couldn't really understand how that happened.

I don't really have any sympathy for your snake though. Not a fan of the species.

Look on the bright side... if he loses the eye, you can invite people to see your one-eyed python and you won't just be some perv.

I feel bad for you and the situation you find yourself in, but not your snake really.

And I appreciate the snake. I just stay away from them so that I don't feel the need to kill them.
