Breaking Bad Season 4

Remember the story from last season, about half measures and the guy killing his girlfriend?

We'll Mike was once again unable to stop an innocent person from being killed. And it got his "partner" killed as well.

I'm thinking Mike is just as pissed off at himself as he is Walt, and now instead of just "doing his job" he really wants to put a bullet or three in Walt...but he can't.

So Gale is dead, Victor is dead, all because he couldn't find Jessie, and now he has to look at the man that caused it all every day.

I'm sure its easier to replace Victor than Mike.

So while Mike is dealing with all this poo, here comes Walt, talking about putting a bullet in the face of the man that pays his salary, suggesting he could easily be next. And this is the man that caused it all, him and his little pooscum buddy. I'd have punched him in the fuging face too.

Where is Mike gonna find work after Gus?

But then again, Gus isn't the kind of guy that tolerates failure, and Mike dropped the ball on this one big time. But Mike really doesn't like dropping the ball.

Saul already employs Mike, and I'm sure he woouldn't have a hard time finding other shady affiliates. but it is all speculation anyway until we see it play out.

This is the first season that I have watched "live", a la I watched the entire series over the past year on Netflix. It is a good show in that, they really leave you hanging on what is going on week to week. I love that, reminds me of the Sopranos...I just freaking HATE waiting though!!

I disagree. It has been slow of course, but season 3 started relatively slow too..outside of the cousins. I'm sure what is happening now will be vital parts of the story for when everything heats up (obviously). The tension will build and the season will be great, its what I have come to expect from breaking bad. I mean there are a ton of storylines begining to be played out, and without a buildup there would be no pay off for the show or its fans.

Yeah, Mike does some side work for Saul, but there's no doubt who he really works for and where his loyalty lies.

Either way, Mike does not like losing, and he lost this round.

Now Mike may go back to Gus and inform him of Walt's offer.

Ya by next weeks previews it looks as if this is going to happen. Mike informing Gus I mean...unless hes playing some sort of angle.

Great episode yesterday. Think the show is finally picking up steam, although I have loved the rest of the season too. Mike is the man.

Wonder where he is taking Jesse. If I had to guess it would be out to the truck that got shot up to clean up with mess and give him a talking too. Because we all know Jesse won't get killed this early.

The Hank and Walt dynamic is getting good too, bound to blow up soon.

    • Biiiiiig eyeroll on this.  First, Look at historical stats of the most recent historical great DBs.  I plucked 3, Revis, Sherman, and Norman (cuzz he was our guy).  Combined post age 30, there are TWO pro bowls between those 3 and wanna get this...ZERO seasons with 16 games started.  ALL missed time.  It is RARE that Corners survive that long in the NFL and its about time we started recognizing this fact.  Jaycee is a good bet because it hasnt been anything seriously devastating injury wise, and with his sample size he could and should be an incredible piece for the panthers through age 30. Jaire kinda flops on the other side, hes 28...so hes under 30, but he wants his payday before it comes up, hes also been injury prone lately.  Bulk of the contract will be on opposite side of 30.  Will both of these guys help us be better in 2026?  SURE!  No doubt, but the question is, will these guys help us past 2026...not sure. The investment isnt worth the risk, nor would the ROI be anywhere close to worth it.  Neither guy is moving us from a 6-8 win team to a 8-10 team, period. My point is we're in this state a 6-8 win team IMO and he projects us as  a 4-6 win team.  EVEN if we think Jaire or Ramsey will make us a 6-8 win team, it in NO WAY is worth the money or capital to move that much just to suck kinda less.
    • I assumed he was retiring but apparently he plans on playing multiple more seasons.  Florida is gonna have trouble holding onto everyone.  Happens to all teams that have that much success.
    • I hate Marchand, but if he became a free agent.....
