Just wanted to see what you all thought of it.

I love it honestly. I gave up on the franchise last year, just felt like they hadn't made any significant changes to gameplay, presentation, or game modes and I was just tired of the stagnant feel to it.

Well, I guess taking a year off renewed my interest in the game because I bought it like 2 or 3 nights ago and played it solid for one night and I am thoroughly impressed. The graphics look totally revamped and AWESOME.

I love the new approach to dynasty mode, placing an emphasis on you as a coach or taking the role of an existing coach and the impact it has on your career - rather than the old system where it was like a 3rd person feel as if you were controlling what happened but weren't involved.

And the gameplay itself feels much smoother and more realistic. I am just really impressed with this version, probably more than any other since this generation started.

I haven't really explored any of the other modes or played online yet, but once I'm done with exams I look forward to it.

I'm hoping I have the same renewed approach to Madden when it comes out this year as well because although I bought the game last year I got tired of it quickly for the same reasons and hardly played it after the first week.

    • If Henderson just got a concussion and will possibly/probably now miss next week as well, gotta think missing 2 games of stats at this point of the year might knock him out as he was only just entering the discussion the last few weeks anyways.  Same goes for Judkins going down today too, and Dart's god awful game likely removes him from the conversation as well. It will be interesting to see how the voters compare T-Mac and Egbuka if they end up with stats that are nearly identical. Egbuka burst onto the scene and put up the bulk of his stats early in the year when Baker was playing like the MVP front runner.  While T-Mac was just more consistent throughout the course of the full season (ex. Egbuka has 8 games of 42 yards or less, T-Mac has 4 of them, while T-Mac still scored 3 TDs in those 4 games, where Egbuka only scored 1 TD in his 8). It would be a shame if they put too much weight on the final game of the season if that ends up being the division decider, as I think T-Mac has had the better SEASON while Egbuka had a better peak output during that first month or so but way cooled off since. Maybe Warren goes off in the last 3 games (they still play tomorrow), but it does seem to be down to T-Mac and Egbuka right now.
    • Mitchell Evan’s put a block on someone that he drove them all the way out of bounds and to the bench. He absolutely destroyed the guy. He’s gonna be a beast for us if he keeps that up.
    • Yall... stop taking a sample size and projecting a role player into a permanent starter cuz he had a decent year after what, 5? Come on
