Will Cam wear #1 for his whole Panthers career?

I wonder what happened to the "internal rule", that nobody was allowed to wear 1 because it was too self centered according to Big Cat. He must really like Cam.

As long as he doesn't win only 1 game, he can wear whatever the fug he wants.

I think whatever number he receives/chooses is the one he will stick with. If it is in fact #1 then he keeps that number.

The only way I see him change numbers is 1) If this season is a disaster & 2) They cut Clausen. The switch from Reebok to Nike next season will probably bring about a few number changes around the league since they will be able to make the switch. Current agreements with Reebok and Team Stores make it difficult for players to just change numbers from season to season because of how much inventory the NFL would lose money on. Essentially what I am saying is that it would take a perfect storm for Cam to change from #1 and it would have to be during the change from Reebok to Nike.
