Big Cat to be on Mike and Mike at 9am

right fit might not be big name guys. lots of hype around joseph, but there are others who would be a solid upgrade over marshall, namely chris carr and carlos rodgers.

i wouldn't even be upset with cromartie.

joseph is my top choice, but he isn't my only choice. i just want us to improve there.

Yep. I hope that is not true.

6-10 here we come

6-10 is an improvement. I will be happy as long as the team keeps building for the long run, making smart decisions and improving every season. I want to build in to a consistent team...

Not try and over spend and make bad decisions to buy one like the Redskins and sometimes cowboys. It comes back on you quickly when you have bad contracts and have to start cutting a bunch of players,

Oh please... just stop...

:cryin:

If we go 6-10 with a new coach, new QB, a bunch of new faces, are you really going to get upset?

You think we can make the playoffs by signing someone like Roy Williams? Guess what.... if we can make it with him, we could make it without him.

He didn't say that did he? All the previous posts say he didn't clue us in.

I believe what he said was that the next priority is extending our own guys.

By the time that happens, all the good FAs that will make a real impact will be gone, right?

Seems like will be picking out of the scraps again.

Did someone get a different take from it?

I agree with with you but some really successful teams follow that model. Pittsburgh Steelers follow that model who we pattern ourselves after so you can't say that isn't successful. You build through the Draft.

You build through the draft but when you have a chance to jump start that rebuilding with a ton of cap space and a lot of needs, you jump start it.

Then you can go back to building and sustaining through the draft.

It never hurts to get a head start.

When those teams see an upgrade, they get it.

We stay content then lick the barrel clean when everyone else is done eating.

    • Damn back to 10th. I only caught the last 5 minutes but some of those 3's were horrible lol. In that close of game you can't be launching those many hail mary's when you could be chipping away from the foul line. I guess no one wanted to get in the paint and didn't trust the refs to give them the calls maybe? Gonna watch the highlights to get a better idea of the flow of the game
    • I agree.  The Big 12 is a good conference, and he is the swinging dick in that conference.  If Bill Self retires, that sets Kansas back a bit, and Arizona moves even further ahead as the best team in that conference.  Arizona can crush west coast recruiting with USC / UCLA no longer being relevant for LA kids, and Gonzaga not being able to compete moneywise.   If Lloyd comes here, he will be second fiddle to Duke every single year in NIL and recruits.  Not to mention the entire SEC and Big East for kids who want to stay in those regions to play. This is why I keep saying go get Mark Few.  Has proven he can do more with less from an X / O perspective but can also recruit All American players and compete at a high level. He's a god at Gonzaga, but for $9M he'd make the move as that's 4x what he's making at Gonzaga, and makes him the highest paid coach in the country.
    • Certainly not going to miss his constant whiffs on sacks and tackles.
