....on how to stop this guy twice a year.

Seriously....215 yards on 15 attempts for a 14.3 yard average last meeting.

Meeks better come up with some answers before it happens again.

In the real world....I'd be willing to bet he'll have a hard time rushing for over 100 yds. against us as the primary back. But, I'm sure you'll disagree and think he going to rush for 200 everytime we play ya'll. Ya know... it is more fun in your world. :banghead:

Naw...I'm a little more realistic. It would help us a bunch even if he could get 100 on you guys.

Don't know how different your D line will look, but with our new O line zone blocking scheme, he may be able to get 100 with Graham contributing some, also.

Is your D line gonna be the same personnel do you think?

Late, a dollar short and in the wrong forum. There is a smack forum here, this isn't it...

Sounds to me you're the one that wants to talk smack.......

I'm here to talk about the Carolina defense and what you think Meeks has in store for Ward.

If you'll page up, you might have a different take on that. I'm not trying to talk anything but football, you're the one who came in all cocky. That said, bring him on. We can definitely handle a running back. It's tight ends that we have problems with - oh wait!...

He's gonna have to study new tape, because it will be entirely different than last years offense. (thank goodness)

I'm pretty sure Meeks has seen zone blocking schemes before. Just about every team in the league has some zone plays in their offense nowadays anyway, including the Panthers.

Yeha its called put him behind the Bucs line instead of the Giants line...

Yea, the Giants had one hell of an O line, that's for sure.

Our young guys are starting to gel. Now they have to learn a new system, but it won't be as complicated as Gruden's was.

    • Very True--and I am a former HS English teacher.
    • Not a Moore fan-but he had a few good games last year-but I want players that scare you--Renfrow's route running and intelligence, Legette's size, speed, and strength, AT's intelligence and route running, Coker's body control, strong hands, and abilty to win contested catches, and TMac's size, body control, and ability to find soft spots in zone coverages.  Horn gives them the ability to stretch the field and he plays special teams.   Moore has a nice smile and can dance.  He filled in well last season, but to get better as a team, you have to upgrade your players.  I think Moore is a bottom of the roster guy who got bumped when we drafted 2 WRs and signed a legit free agent.  Here is the thing--TMac makes us better because he is great against the zone--man?  Good luck with that.  AT's role can be reduced, and that is probably a good thing.  He can specialize in situational football. Coker?  Just getting started. XL?  Just getting started.  Drafting TMac was probably a bit of a wake up call, but XL will be better as the 2. Renfrow?  I see him splitting reps with AT--keeping both fresh and giving different looks. Horn?  Watch the safety cheat his side when he is in the game--I see a young Steve Smith type in him, but he has yet to play a game.  I hear that Morgan loves him.
    • Burns at 5-6 seems....a little aggressive.
