Am I the only one who thinks we will be decent at CB?

We need another cb.Gamble came off a bad year and Caption is either nickel or a good backup.Hogan is a rookie that is hurt and will miss training camp.We need another cb .

We were talking about the possibility of Gamble being cut, Marshall is gone and Munnerlyn has never been asked to start at CB... we need help that that position BIG TIME.

We're waiting for all the cuts to come in to pick someone up. They couldn't start practicing till 8/4 anyways, so we have time.

Lol none of us has even seen hogan play in the nfl. Even if he was healthy I would be worried about the position.

I would like to see the Panthers sign another DB, but I wouldn't sleep on Burney. The kid is a ballhawk and is probably the best UDFA to come into the league in a long time. I wouldn't be suprised if he got the nod at nickel.

my guess is that hurney & co wait this out to get the best fit , wouldn't suprise me if the team takes a look at jordan pugh along with captain,burney,, stanford & r. mclain from last years draft class. as we get close to the regular season we might sign a player still available or someone cut by another team

Love Captain, love the guy. Great Nickel/energy guy. But when he played 2 (when Gamble was out and lots of times on third downs because Marshall was moved back to the nickel spot) he consistently got burned. Whenever our exhausted defense was able to force a miraculous third down last season, we got consistently beat. Usually it was not Gamble's fault, but either Marshall or Captain.

Granted I don't blame Captain because he was guarding their number two guy (Giants game that was Hakeem Nicks- we all saw how that turned out)

We need a number two corner. Maybe a stop-gap but godamn at this point I wish we had pulled a Falcons and traded away next years draft for Pat Peterson. Hell with the Cardinals maybe we could have just given them Matt Moore-----sarcasm
