No... I don't need any more of that... :ack2:

Ubuntu is a linux variant. Supposed to be easy to install and use... and it seems to be... it appears to run fine if I boot from the CD iso, but when I install it to the internal HDD, it will boot but the screens all screwed up and it acts weird and never goes to the desktop???

Sounds like a video card driver issue. I had ubuntu but had so many problems with my wireless card that I said screw it and went back to windows. :confused:

I think you are right... definitely something screwy going on...too bad too, seems like a cool little OS. Weird though how it will run if booted from the CDROM but not from the HDD install.

Was going to try OpenSUSE but that system won't boot from DVD apparently.

Trying Puppy 5.2.5 now, we'll see... this is really my first foray into linux... I just want something on this laptop for simple web surfing and some office stuff for the kids.

      TMac is a good player and would've been the right pick if our QB could throw a ball farther than 40 yards. For this team's current build (run first, game management passing attack) and the fact that our TE's are laughably bad - the five on our roster have combined for less than 600 yards total, with 3 TDs - Warren should've been the pick.

      If anyone feels like they can't have a conversation about Bryce Young nearly three full seasons into his career maybe assess why and how these conversations end this way instead of looking to shoot the messenger. Why is it okay to label anyone else on the team or coaching staff trash? Folks on the huddle and across the fanbase on social media have fully thrown anyone and everyone including rookie 8th overall pick TMac fully under the bus multiple times this season. But some of you guys apparently expect a pat on the back because Bryce Young successfully evaded a few potential sacks while Tyler Shough got consumed by our pass rush throughout the game and still had a superior performance. The state of this division is hilariously mediocre at best. Bryce Young is the only player on this roster who is allowed to have the lowest bar possible yet we have invested the most resources in him. It's lunacy.
