Things us southerners eat that westerners hate

Livermush is awesome. I eat it raw, Neeses is the best IMO. I also like it thick sliced real crispy key is using just a little oil in the pan to cook it. Like pork brains it takes awhile for the scent to get out of the kitchen after you cook it. Mixed with grits there is no better breakfast food. Unless you include a livermush omelette with cheese to the mixture.

Livermush, really?

Couldn't you just scrape some of this up with a spatula, fry it and have the same thing?

boiled peanuts

That's what I was going to say. :(

No Bojangle's or Chic-Fil-A over there. I don't remember seeing chicken biscuits either..... anywhere.

How about sweet tea? At least in WA and OR, if you ask for sweet tea in a restaurant, they offer raspberry tea.

But over here on the east coast, I don't think I've seen fresh octopus in the grocery store.

There is no such thing as Liver Mush. Its called Liver pudding and its nasty imo, but I know some people that like it.

Lived in the South most of my life, and I have heard people talk about Chitluns, but I don't know anyone that actually eats them.

When I was young, my dad would cook pigs feet. That stuff smelled up the kitchen for days.
