After watching the Giants,Dolphins, and Bengals game this year one thing stands out. Teams are still blitzing for the run and doubling Smith. Oh and guess what its working! As Rivera has said our WRs need to step up and get some separation because this is not going to go away. I will be watching how Chud uses Olsen and Shockey because they seem to be the only ones capable of getting off blocks and being open.

I would just keep Cam in the shotgun for know for the most part (for the start of the year). I would also tell Cam when they send the heart to make a move and take off every couple snaps. They send those linebackers into our backfield and there simply isn't anyone who can take Newton down. Newton seems to be so good at seeing the pressure he can find a lane adn go. Need to dial up the Cam running more to get this pressure to stop. You don't have to hurt them w/ the pass to make them stop....not w/ Newton in.

We don't have Gettis and we don't have Edwards. It sucks, but we'll been playing the "we were hurt" card for years now. Guess what, people are going to get hurt, and we won't have our full depth chart. Neither did green bay last year. If we don't get quality backups at EVERY position we're going to struggle.
