Post your reaction when the New Orleans Saints signed Panther legend John Kasay

What does being articulate have to do about anything?

If you're implying it's because of his race, please look at my breakdown of QBs into Elite/Good/Game Manager/Bad and see where I have Vick, then look at my personal feelings towards Vick.

What you'll find is that nothing influences my judgment and evaluation of QBs except for the football field.

I would also submit that Jake threw for 323 yards and 3 TD's against MUCH better defense then the defense Brees threw for 288 yards and 2 TD's against.

Bottom line: when you win the SB and and a year later you get bounced in the wildcard round by a 7-9 team, you are by definition regressing.

Don't think it was done intentionally, but he obviously noticed a huge difference in how the practices are being run. Can't blame him for wanting to be a part of a winning organization. Also in the article says that he was perfect on all his kicks during the first few days of practice.

He is $$$ from within 42 yards

I just don't understand why Kasay had to "go there" in his comments?

You can express your excitement for your new team without taking a shot at your old team. I understand that his feelings are hurt, but I expected more from him.

Thanks for the memories John, sorry it had to end this way. The next time JR or Hurney are asked about Kasay, they should return the favor:

"Well, John was great for this organization for many years... very reliable... uh, well except that one kickoff that cost us a SB. We did everything we could to try and extend his career, but at the end of the day we could no longer justify the use of an extra roster spot to cover for the fact that his skills were eroding. We've got a guy now that can kick FG's every bit as good as John and can also kickoff... imagine that!"
