NFC South is the 4th toughest division.

bear with me here, but it's partly perspective. To us, this is the hardest division in football it feels like, but to the teams in our division that have to play us... it, well, isn't.

I'd say we're third or fourth. I think the NFC North is ahead of us, because Minnesota is looking like it's going to rebound strong, Detroit looks great, and we know about the Packers and Bears. I also think the AFC East is ahead of us, because Miami has a crazy good defense and an offense that looks to be gelling, and Buffalo's defense got better this offseason and Fitpatrick is getting better in their system. Overall I think the NFC East is highly overrated and I'd put the NFC South past the NFC East. Hell, I might even put the AFC North past the NFC East because I think the Bengals might surprise some people and they have two of the top five teams in the AFC with Ravens & Steelers IMO.

At least he got the part about Atlanta and New Orleans being Super Bowl contenders correct.:prrr:

Which, other than the AFCE, is the only division to boast two legit candidates. So, with that doesn't he kinda invalidate his own argument?

I think it should be

1. NFCS

2. AFCE

3. AFCN

4. NFCN

5. AFCS

6. NFCE

7. AFCW

8. NFCW

I'd say toughest.

Last year we had the NFL's #1 seed, plus two other 10 win teams.

Who else did that?

to be fair both of those teams got bounced in the first round(Atlanta got humiliated at home) and the Buccaneers aren't that great

I think NFCN will be the toughest. Green Bay is a force, Chicago still has a good D and Cutler isn't terrible(he's not that good either), Detroit is on the rise and could very well get a wild card, and Vikings might be alright with McNabb.

NFC West - Terrible

NFC North - Loaded

NFC South - Top Heavy. NO ATL

NFC East - Always a war.

AFC West - Chargers are the better team but those division games a brutal

AFC South - Wide open with Manning on the lame. Well, other and Jacksonville

AFC North - Pitt & Balt, Balt & Pitt.

AFC East - Top heavy.

IMO

1) NFC North

2) NFC East

3) AFC West.

4) AFC South

I think Chicago goes backwards and Minny sucks again, jmo.

certainly possible, I just think we'll see Minnesota better than they were last year (certainly not great, but better) and I see Chicago perhaps taking a step backwards to being in the fight for a wildcard, but I think they'll finish the season very competitive. Part of that is because I'm rooting for Chris Harris to get a ring though.

    • lol well that kinda ended up working out in the end, even though I still don't have my jersey yet. Was supposed to ship by tomorrow this time, but just got another email saying it was delayed another 3 weeks and because it's been delayed so long, I had to tell them to keep the order or cancel it, but gave me a 25% off my next order as an apology. Well, my original fear came true and they are now selling the FUSE version (but still not the Blue unfortunately) before the one I ordered was ever shipped. But that's awesome, because I was able to use that coupon to order the FUSE instead and then cancelled the original order.  So I got the jersey I wanted for only $6.30 more than the crappier version costs, and it also says it will be shipped immediately and get here early next week, or 2 weeks before the other was now supposed to be shipped out.
    • I've watched this and think we are well underway.  Believe it or not, Bryce is a big part of this.  The way he bounced back with such grace.  And we've got a lot of young players who want to make their mark, Dave is giving them an opportunity.  I loved our draft.  I like the number of guys we brought in, and they will help build the culture we want under Dave.  We're getting closer, and I think we'll see more wins this year than most of the board. The right culture breeds winning, and winning builds the right culture.  Imho, it's coming.
    • As others have said it's both. One creates the other. But it also takes time sometimes years. And there have been teams lately with new car smell coaching staffs that looked like they were putting it together quickly but things came crashing back down to Earth. Sustainability is the key. For that to happen the meddling of our owners has to stop and they cannot be tempted to return to their ways over any bump in the road either.
