first time doing fantasy draft ever. in looking at everyone else in my leagues results, seems as if i made a mistake in drafting 2 kickers and 2 Defense.

original idea was thinking i had to have someone for the bye week. however, noone else has 2 of either. so, should i just drop 1 of each and add wr and rb depth?

(my team regular rules format)

T. Brady--- M. Ryan

M. Forte--- D. McFadden-- R. Bush

B. Marshall ---S. Johnson --A. Green-- B. Lloyd-- D. Hester

K. Winslow

B. Cundiff --O. Mare

Packers-- Lions

Kicker... Drop his azz right now. You don't draft a kicker for the bye weeks. When it comes you just pick up some random dude if the waiver wire for that week. The reason is the average difference in scoring between the top and bottom kickers are very little compared to other fantasy positions. Also it can be a just the matter of luck how your kicker scores that week. So yes, drop him.

Defense - Depends on your leagues scoring. Some leagues score the defensive position much heavier than other leagues. Some have major point swings for how many yards/points put up against them. You have two good fantasy defenses. If the league is heavy Defense scoring I will keep both and play the better matchup each week... If the defensive performance isn't heavily scored compared to other positions, choose your favorite and drop the other. Then when the by week comes pick up the best matchup defense available for that week.

thanks

its a default nfl scoring league.

DEFENSE TEAM

* Sacks: 1 point

* Interceptions: 2 points

* Fumbles Recovered: 2 points

* Safeties: 2 points

* Defensive Touchdowns: 6 points

* Kick and Punt Return Touchdowns: 6 points

* Points Allowed (0): 10 points

* Points Allowed (1-6): 7 points

* Points Allowed (7-13): 4 points

* Points Allowed (14-20): 1 points

* Points Allowed (21-27): 0 points

* Points Allowed (28-34): -1 points

* Points Allowed (35+): -4 points

so, drop a defense as well and pickup in the bye?

and, same things with TE or keep 2 all year?

    • After last season, it was the same question. And the answer most people came to was "If he doesn't make the playoffs, he's gone." He made the playoffs. No matter how it was done, we made it to the playoffs. He's safe. He's going to have a chance to keep working this out, even if next season isn't a playoff one.  I think we'll do better next year than we did this season. There's something being built here.
    • The NBA is a very fickle league. Kon is one of the hottest rookies in years and beyond just his play on the court he is a very steady competitor and that translates to the rest of the team. That has been a glaring absence with the culture of this franchise through the bulk of the LaMelo Ball years that's just being completely blunt and realistic. The enigma of LaMelo Ball is he is entering year 6 and still either red hot or ice cold. We need him to find that sweet spot. Logic dictates the Hornets will want to see this core again next year. But the clock is beyond ticking at this point. It's put up or shut up. Especially considering what the Thunder managed to do recently. I'm hopeful they can keep these wins rolling in and get some much needed playoff experience under their belts which will help substantially.
    • I think as long as the Panthers are competitive with Canales they should keep him. Pepper needs to repair his/the teams image as a place prized free agents aren't hesitant to consider. Just dont do any crazy poo for a few years.
