Does it really make some of you feel better..

Yeah, last year was unusual. We knew from the outset we had a lame duck coach with a dubious QB situation and a lockout pending, but of course still went in with hope. When Moore didn't pan out immediately, the FO, coaches and team obviously quit. By early to midseason it was all about Andrew Luck. From a fan's perspective, I can honestly say, last year was the only time I've ever rooted for my team to lose.

Anyway, the hardline "true fan" ideal is so dumb it's embarrasing.

Rooting for the team you're a fan of to lose is so dumb it's embarrasing.

It is possible to support the team while still being objective.

Someone misses a tackle, whiffs on a block, takes a bad angle on a runner, throws a bad pass, fumbles a football, whatever. No point in glossing over those things.

Are there people who are overly negative? yeah. There's some that are homerific too. For me, I think it's best to be hopeful and supportive of the team while being realistic about where we are.

(at least that's what I try to do)

    • I thought he was from watching him play and also doing his first HC job. I thought he was the real deal  Apparently what happened is Kraft committed to Mayo and I don’t remember the timeline exactly - but Vrabel was unemployed at the same time Belichick was unemployed. They both were fired after the 2023 season.  Kraft hired Mayo. Who was kind of an obvious disaster. He probably already had the deal in place but I will give Kraft credit for not sleeping. With Vrabel out there for 2025 he made the move he needed to make and if it hurt Mayo’s feelings then oh well.  I guess you can tell I am not fond of Kraft but that was a really savvy move. At his age, pretty good. Still has it.
    • It’s going to feel like a home game for the bills. There are so many of their fans that live down here now, and many of them have never seen Allen play in person since their last visit was 8 years ago. It didn’t matter for the cowboys game, but it might here. I think we likely lose a close one. Probably a questionable flag or two that doesn’t go our way. X factor for Buffalo will be Kincaid and Knox. If we do win it’s because we get ahead and play keep away from Allen. FYI- I have many friends who are Bills fans that are fed up with Beane who we all revere and think is the one that got away. They feel like he was great to land Josh but has done a terrible job of building around him (especially at WR) and rely on him to become super man to win- sounds kind of familiar, like the last time we had a franchise QB.
    • I always thought of him as an uptight military family dude, didn't know he needs to wash that mouth out with soap lol.
