To get one of those flexible primetime games later on in the season? With the coverage and the slurping Cam has been getting, I could see us getting moved into one of them a lot quicker than in years past. I think it would have to be a night where we are playing a playoff contender and aren't completely shitty. I think the NFL would LOVE to showcase Cam Newton, because he makes them money. Also, we probably have a much better shot at getting at least a couple of MNF games next year, regardless of our final record this year. Thoughts?

We will have to have a shot at the playoffs & beat some top notch teams. Other than that, you know they will want to get the #1 draft pick & soon to be even bigger superstar out in front of the national audience.

Weeks 13 14 and 17 (divisional games) would be options but wed have to be in the playoff hunt or it wont happen. Or week 11 against lions if we are both 6-3 or better but that's not extremely likely

I think if we play someone who is in the thick of the playoff race and we aren't we could still get the nod. Not if we are 4-10 but I mean if we are hovering around .500 I think it's possible.

We got a primetime game last year when we were pitiful, I see much more primetime coming our way. Not Cowboys or Giants primetime status, but maybe one MNF or SNF game a year.

Those games are mostly about ratings. Good teams get ratings. However, so does Cam Newton. It may seem crazy, but if Cam keeps playing well, we will get put in primetime unless we're plain terrible.
