"We’ve set a record, Panthers fans! The home opener on Sunday vs. Green Bay received the highest Charlotte market TV ratings in Carolina Panthers franchise history for a Week 2 regular season game. Our combined TV ratings from Week 1 and 2 also makes this the best two week TV start in franchise history."

Cam has definitely rejuvenated this fanbase, this is just one of the many results of it.

Typical Charlotte. Let the losses keep piling up and see what TV share the Panthers' get. Our 'fan base' is about a solid a Swiss cheese on a hot summer day. I'm not refering to people here...most are dedicated fans, just your typical Charlottian regarding the Panthers'. This is new and exciting. If the excitement wears off (still not winning many games), the Panthers' gear goes straight back in to the closet.

Sadly I agree...all the close panther fans will be out in full force this year. This is true with most fanbases but ours is worst than most. When my generation grows up, the generation that grew up watching the panthers...there will be a more dedicated/loyal fanbase..I hope.

This is a silly remark. that is the case with every pro sports franchise.

      What did you want, a bunch of fights? Fights don’t win games, goals do. As far as physicality goes the Canes had 35 hits to the Panthers 32. The Canes lost in the third when the Panthers scored 5 goals on only 14 SOG. Canes were rarely on offense with only 3 SOG in the period. Canes lost due to defensive breakdowns, mistakes and a poorly defended net. Played in a panic, not their game.

      Honestly I’d rather see Rozeboom next to an alpha/stud LB. I’m totally out on Wallace. He shouldn’t be a starter even if Luke Kuechly reincarnated appears on the team next year. We can do better.
