lol...our problems are soooo minor...

Funny to me how worked up and frustrated fans here seem to be. One would think we are a bottom dweller team with no future. It's like some weird Twilight Zone..or even the Star Trek reverse dimension where everyone is evil...

We made it to the fargin NFC Divisisonal Playoffs for cryin' out loud. I swear we could have won the super bowl and there would still be idiots - IDIOTS beggin for Jake's head on a platter.

So lets take a swing around the league. Cutler goes up for sale and it's like we are the 'only' team that would want him...lol.

The South...

All of a sudden the Bucs are the weakest team. No QB, defense with holes, Chucky gone..respect the improved run but thats all ya get. Maybe Tampa would want Cutler hmm?

Saints and Falcons - they shouldnt be whining. Maybe a missing WR and some Defense in ATL and some Def in NO but they are both solid.

Zip to the Bengals. They lose Housh, still have no RB...glad im not a Bengals fan.

Rams...QB has been horrible...wonder how he is being crucified. Young young WR, Action Jackson..no Def...must be hard being a Rams fan.

Broncos...how they have fallen. Sad...great running schemes built around solid lines...now on top of having no defense they have a new coach, a disgruntled Franchise QB and a zillion RB. Glad im not a Broncos fan.

Bills...how they have struggled for YEARS to build a respectable team...how many years of hate have spewed on their fan boards?

Chargers - as we tear ourselves up watching our BELOVED Peppers drama..what did they go through with first Brees, than watching Turner go, and than the recent LT stuff? Not to mention Merriman...glad im not a Chargers fan.

Eagles...huge huge - GREAT QB in McNabb and the fans hate em...if Jake was their I think he would have been murdered. Glad im not an Eagles fan.

Raiders and Redskins. Think how much fun it would be a fan to these teams watching their owners dump money into players that stop wanting to play...and have terrible scouts bringing in sub players. What does either of these teams have to be proud of? One super corner back? A RB who trash talks his team and coach?? Glad im not a fan of the Skins or Raiders.

Lions...how hard is it to be a Lion's fan? Do I need to even write anything??

Vikings - For every awesome move they make they do another dumb thing. They got a RB to be proud of, good corners...but their answer to their QB question hasnt been answered since...Cunningham? Johnson? Culpepper?? Glad im not a Vikings fan.

Texans...it's like they cant get started. They must love Andre like we love Smith..but what else do they have to be happy about or proud of? Will this team ever be feared?

Colts...coach gone, great WR gone...its just and always will be Manning. The fans must be screaming to get him some help.

Miami, KC, Bears...seriously I could go on and on. Its easier to name the teams that have FEWER flaws than the Panthers and even than its not rainbows and roses. Steelers? Aging WR and a now suspect running game. Giants? Their best WR shoots himself. Cowboys? Will the coach ever figure out the amazing pieces he has to finish??

I am just saying - I am proud to be a Panther. The Front Office DESERVES our faith for cryin' out loud. Almost everyone is back and the Turd is gone - whether Peppers goes or stays we will be STRONGER.

2nd best is first loser

Winning is a one way street

Not winning the superbowl is failing

They give out ribbons these days to everyone involved just for being involved in a competition.

I think that's where it comes from, starts when they are young, and they get the YOU ARE A WINNER ribbon even though they lost.

Society is leaning that way I suppose.

I mean I love our team, I'm happy with our team, but damn I feel like I can talk about them without overly glorifying them.....

I mean if the truth is so bad, just pretend something else is real.

I just call it like it is, it doesn't really hurt my feelings that we don't have a winning record as an organization, no SB's or stuff like that.

But when someone calls it like that, it is like that....

success is a mountain. in the nfl there is only room for one at the top but all 32 teams have a shot at reaching the top and it starts over every year. some teams have longer distances to cover than others. we don't have nearly as far to climb as others do. ]

we failed to get there last year but we got closer than we have in a few years and much closer than many other teams have in a long time.

we have a chance to get there again. there is nothing wrong with acknowledging that we have a shorter distance to cover than others or that our problems aren't as bad as others. the problem is when we take an "it is what it is" approach and become complacent. with fox, that is always a danger.

i do not think that is going to be happening this off season, though. our lack of action so far is not a weakness....yet.

    • Except it takes those QB's a few years to develop because they needed to learn the mental side of the game and have it catch up to their physical attributes. Bryce was supposed to be a QB savant who already had a fully developed mental side of the game and that was going to make up for his lack of physical ability.  And his lack of NFL level QB physical traits has been clear as day to anyone who has watched him the last 3 years, mainly, he just doesn't have an NFL arm, he can't zip the ball into tight spaces or throw on a line down the field like is needed at this level.
    • Don’t recall seeing many of his interviews but what strikes me is that he engages and goes in depth. Even with the cliche answers as referenced by OP come across somewhat thoughtful.  Very likable personality despite being someone who can crush an average person like I can crush a paper cup. I knew Motons mother had a career at MSU but was looking on the google and found that Mushin Muhammad personally knew Motons grandfather.   His late grandfather was a professor at MSU.   Cool guy.  Interesting family and small world.
    • I think people aren’t patient enough with Young. It can take a few years for a QB to develop. Look at Darnold, Baker and most recently Daniel Jones.   he hasn’t been able to put up big passing numbers either cause of how much we run the ball. You can tell our coaching staff still hasn’t took the training wheels off Bryce and let him go all out. We’ve had some pretty bad receivers as well. We finally got a true number one last year and look how much Bryce improved. Still we didn’t really have any depth behind TMac. Coker was hurt for a lot of the year and XL was our #2. How many big plays or TDs has XL dropped? I think this year can be the year we see Bryce able to hit his stride. If not then we can start looking for another qb but I just ask people to be patient.
