Less ads and better music at the Stadium against the Pack

This might already be a thread. But did anyone notice there was a hell of a lot less commercials playing at the game than previous years.

I thought it was noticeably better. It had gotten to the point that I didn't enjoy going to the games because of the constant advertising.

The music was better too imo. The timing was better. They played music to try and get the fans hyped before a defensive serious where in the past there would have definitely been an advertisement.

for whatever reason, im able to tune out the ads. of course, may not be as much interest this year from sponsors because of last years records. either way, it appears things are getting better.

The tanker flyover wasn't as bad as the year they had Snoopy the CMPD helicopter fly over :eek:

I'll be there Sunday too. Me and my husband, we haven't been able to go to a game together in a long while. I can't wait. I think we're going to Mortimers or some bar before hand, get a bit wasted and then head towards the game. If he want's to we will stop by (meaning we wont stop by). ;)

Now that you mention it, yeah, there was the one hoover ad. Otherwise they were NFL highlights.

There were beer ads, ads for Carolina Medical, and a couple of others ... pretty much the same as it's always been. The Hoover "ad" isn't an ad as much as a public service announcement.
