Well part of this season has been Dexter's emotions taking over. Hence the reason Harry was constantly like "wtf you doin Dexter."

so many of you complaining that the writing is lazy, that the character hasn't evolved, and that Dexter isn't as calcuating and careful as he used to be. could it be that this, precisely, IS the character's evolution? the past two seasons dexter has been getting sloppier and starting to care less about his mistakes.

To me, it seems like this 12 episode season is actually about 7 episodes long with 5 episodes of filler. It started great, but it seems to be dragging now. The tooth fairy episode? The Nebraska trip? Dead call girl? I'd rather see the plot advance than a Smallville-type freak of the week.

nah, there was always something up with her. i thought the blonde intern would have a part other than being the one who stole the hand. i was hoping she'd be part of DDK's plan, and we'd finally get to see masuka do something besides comic relief.

Im just now watching dexter im on season 1 episode 8 and im pretty sure i got a good grasp on who the killer is i mean if you've read enough mystery novels like me you figure these things out easily. Other then that im pissed that they waited 5 episodes to show tits.
