Is the national Cam hype fading?

I think the hype has died down, because it's become more of the norm. It's not such a big deal when Cam throws for 300 yards, because honestly, he's already showed that he can do that time and time again.

The other day on the roundtable NFL Network show, Steve Marucci was talking about a QB (The Golden Calf of Bristol, I believe) and how he doesn't throw the ball all over the field like Brady, Rodgers, or Cam.

Cam was an interesting story at the beginning of the year. Now he's on a 1-5 team and has had a couple mediocre-bad games (not entirely his own fault of course). The media will give him some attention if he wins this week I'm sure or if he has a big passing day.

Also there were no expectations for Cam or the Panthers to begin with, so they can't repeatedly discuss how there's a huge let down like with Vick's Eagles.

Who wants media attention anyway though?

He's played three games GENIUS, and has 3 losses and ONE win. ESPN and the National media has ALWAYS slobbered over The Golden Calf of Bristol and in their eyes he can do no wrong.

Dude. Teebow came in at halftime their last game 2 weeks ago, thats pretty much all he's played this season. Teebow was just named starter for the first time this season. Denver had a bye week last week so its been 2 weeks of anticipation. Thats why.

Cam starts winning and Cam will again be all over the news, bank on it.

The Golden Calf of Bristol has been in one game, genius. He's fresh for the media. Cam has been losing.

hmmmm. Cam has been losing??? The reality is, if Cam wasn't doing what he has been doing the Panthers wouldn't be receiving much tv time despite them not winning. As I've stated from beginning, with some of u, Cam is nothing more than an end to the means.

At least The Golden Calf of Bristol is appreciated by the Denver fans regardless of whether he wins or loses...

And I will say, it's quite funny how the same talking heads who accused Cam of being a "run first" QB and demanded that he learns to 'sit in the pocket" is now okay with Tim being a "run first" QB because that is the direction the QBs are going in now. I honestly get whiplash trying to keep up with all the double-minded talking.

he played 3 games last year and went 1-2 is what he was referring to.

It causes tickets and merchandise to sell, so, Jerry Richardson?

Carolina fans will support the team if they win. It's been tested and proven. We're not like the Bucs or Jags who prob need that extra push to get the needed sales to support the team.

Back to 'winning cures everything'.

What I find so funny is, Cam is being talked about on NFLN as I type. The reality is, the talking heads do enjoy talking about Cam. They enjoy talking about ways to stop him.
