I have been so excited to see Pilares and Tutu at WR but they haven't seen the field at all. I love to get them some reps every now and then.

agreed. going to add j-stew to that list as well. one of the best blocking backs on top of making huge plays every touch he gets. i love deangelo, but stewart will be a top 5 back given the chance

The Panthers don't go 4 wide. At least not with 4 wide receivers. They are content with using Shockey/Olsen and having Stew/DeAngelo going out into the pattern. Lafell got reps as the #2 and #3 in the last game. If you bring in any other WR into the offense, Lafell would be sitting and that makes no sense to me.

they both get plenty of playing time. They aren't included in every single package but they are on the field the majority of the time.

No, LaFell doesn't get plenty of time........not when you look at the reps Legadu gets.

lafell gets a lot of action. he's the 3rd WR on a team that runs a lot of 3WR sets.

i have no problem with the % they are on the field, esp. lafell.

Lafell got a lot more reps in the Redskins game. The problem is they aren't doing many empty sets because of Bell, so it's harder to run 3 WR sets.

the only problem with the 3-4 is that charles johnson was exposed.

The guy is not a 3-4 OLB and looked like it in the game.

He looked horrible against the run while we ran that scheme.

Im not sure why they dont use him as a DE not a LB. I think that when you need Norwood out there.

those empy sets were dumb against the Skins. Cam got blown up too many times.

I just think LaFell needs to flat out replace Legadu. That is how he gets more reps. So in that regards he is different than Applewhite. Applewhite needs the staff to get creative to see if they can find downs to get him involved in morer. LaFell needs to be our starter.

I was thinking the same thing. If CJ doesn't have ideal height for a 3-4 DE but he has the strength to pull it off in terms of doing it selective. I think he would be much better in the DE spot.

LaFell is on the field obviously......thread said simply he should be on the field more. In his case that also means he flat out should take away reps from other players.....

Legadu has too many reps and too many targets. Wasted balls.

The play that Cam scrambled on the 3 and 9 and picked up 20 yds Lafell absoluetly DESTROYED Landry. It made me smile. Landry was buried in the middle of the field. His head hit the ground so hard Im surprised his brain is still functioning. Someone please put video of this!
