Honestly I don't think the offense really needs Owens. But its not like I wouldn't mind if he joined the roster. As long as he takes less money, which is what he should get, it probably wouldn't be negative for the team.

If Owens wants any money at all, we won't sign him.

From a talent standpoint, that is to be determined, the obvious reason why he shouldn't get paid much.
