Just to have a shot at a wildcard all the teams in the nfc south would have to win no more than 4 games each the rest of the year. Not to mention the rest of the nfc. So no.

The math on this is simple... As long as The Panthers worry about themselves and not anybody else they *can* make the playoffs. 11-5 gets us in for sure...

We can't worry about other teams. Just have to take care of bitness.

It's not highly likely that we win out, but the Cardinals did make the Workd Series... So stranger things have definitely happened.

If:

-we win out and,

-Atlanta loses just one additional game and,

-and the Saints lose 2 more games, including a divisional game, other than against us,

...we tie with the Saints and win the division with a better divisional record on the final game of the season. It would make for a hell of a finish and a huge last game of the season on the road.

Wild card won't happen. But the above would be interesting. If the above happens, then I would consider us a Superbowl lock considering the sickening amount of pressure Cam and this team would have to overcome to make the playoffs in that fashion.
