I appreciate the gesture, I was just telling you not to worry on my behalf. There's no reason to try and prove that I'm wrong here. I know more about my situation than you do.

I'm not trying to prove or disprove anything. I'm just offering some advice having had contact with scenarios where people were taken advantage of in situations where they were less exposed.

If you say you've got your identity covered, then go in confidence. Without knowing all the facts, would I say I'm skeptical that you're as secure as you say you are? Yep. Without all the facts, does your confidence of personal identity security set a contrasting irony to my knowledge and first hand experience with these scenarios where other people said they never imagined their security was vulnerable? Yep.

But again, that's on you, and all I can say is good luck with that.

Just read through your "jail" thread, wow. dunno what to say. my mother was a public defender for some time and encountered a lot of poo like this. blows. unfortunately once you get a record, a lot of people will be convinced you are guilty no matter what. I think you did the right thing by taking the deal.

feel like there's something more to all of this (not saying on your end necessarily). sucks though.

Its amazing, they tax weed less than ciggarettes SMH. Imagine if they were to legalize and tax... Dept of revenue would be rolling in the cake.

Id rather pay an extra 3.50 for a gram than to have to deal with sketchy drug dealers and the long arm of the law

$7,000?????? wow. are you going to try and fight it? there are cases on point that have struck down these taxes as unconstitutional criminal penalties. Look to Dep't of Revenue of Montana v. Kurth Ranch, 511 U.S. 767 (1994).
