How Long Can Steve Smith and Deangelo Williams Play in the NFL?

not really....DeAngleo played 4 years at Memphis being the offense. You think the pounding Stewart got as a NFL rookie puts more wear on this tires than what Williams did as a senior?

i think stewart has been hit more in his career just because he initiates a lot of that contact.

well obviously Stewart's style isn't going to lead for a record long career......

but what Williams did his senior year in college was much much much more work/damage to his body than Stewart's rookie year IMO. College reps matter at that position IMO.

I'm just saying from what I saw of his college career, he was just running free and not even getting touched..I guess if you watched his senior year and saw him take some big hits..

    • For this reason, BY will not play against the Packers. They will find a reason for him to stay on the bench again.
    • Well he quickly deflected the question about Rico's "almost 7 YPC." He is very polished and he transitioned well to non-answers and side steps. I can see why a guy like him was able to pull the wool over on guys like Tepper.
    • 31st rushing D and 8 carries by Rico is coaching.  Rico is easily the best offensive weapon right now and it’s not really close.  *literally everyone knows Dalton is washed, horrible and shouldn’t even be a backup QB.   Drive 1? ZERO carries.  Coaching.  Drive 2 - Rico was playing great.   Did Canales lean into that or go for “balance”? Coaching. Drive 3 - ZERO carries.  Coaching  Drive 4 - 1 carry and opted for Jimmy Horn gadget rush (you can’t stick  with the Horn repetitive gadget runs each week and that’s not a better idea than getting Rico going)  Drive 5 - basically Dalton heavy as the half expired.  I don’t need to watch a game to know it’s coaching.  The gameplan wasn’t about setting Rico up to go off on a trash rush D.  It was bullshit harmony balance of the rush and the pass and making Hubbard feel good.
