So I had to fire a guy..

Interviewing people is a constant reminder to myself that I will never have a problem finding a job.

The amount of idiots out there, with their horrible resumes, interview skillsets and just general lack of brain power is amusing only when it happens to others.

I just hate going through the hiring process. Too much bs. Too many people looking to skate on easy street. Oh well....

Go ahead and try and claim unemployment, watch how I fight it.

Denied

I'm a restaurateur in Cincinnati so I have been there, done that.

Just 3 weeks ago I caught a line-cook smoking pot behind the dumpster and fired him on the spot. Then one of my other workers(floater) walked out on me, because I fired his friend.

I had to work the line for a couple weeks until I had his replacement trained, no big deal though.

If that was here in California, I'd have looked the other way.

We're still paying a former employee unemployment for failing a drug test (MJ) after an accident.

That's a big no can do here in ultra-conservative Cincinnati.

I don't care what they do outside of work, but I'm not gonna chance my family's well being, so an employee can get high.

    • Ravens mixing it up with a random Mark Andrew tush push last year isn't a similar situation.  Lamar has run QB sneaks his entire career.  And often instead of a traditional sneak will even employ a 4th and 1 direct snap to Lamar simply because of how athletic he is (which even Cam did a lot of) and let him pick his own holes.
    • height being an issue doesn't just mean batted balls.  You could argue Bryce minimizes batted balls by adopting other poor habits such as his jump passing and leaving the pocket.   As I said, there are plays you can point to where he clearly was blind to parts of the field/players....which kills plays and opportunity. Which actually means some of the shorter/hot throws when things break down are where his vision gets blocked (and he had below average production all around the line of scrimmage).   has he figured it out? I mean, he improved off a trainwreck start.  But Bryce Young since arriving in the league (even while figuring it out)......doesn't generate much offensive production vs his peers.  I just think his ceiling is low.   And that's not in the grand scheme what you want in the NFL.  I think he can develop into a serviceable QB, that will largely always been a middle of the pack or low end starter.
    • People make a lot of noise about his footwork and I think it is overblown. Whether he takes 3 steps backwards or 5 small steps doesn't matter as long as he ends up at the right depth and is in sync with  the receiver regarding timing. If he does that consistently who cares as long as he has a firm stable base as he delivers the ball. Which he does need to work on. However even that is somewhat overblown given that often QBs have to throw off balance or from different arm angles to fit the ball around defenders. He is considered very accurate so apparently it isn't hurting him that much.
