If thats what they want...I have a feeling Denver is going to be on the news for awhile. I cant wait to hear what Cutler has to say next !!!:D

The sad part is that wasn't Denver's GM saying that, it was another Team's GM and a former GM saying that was what he was worth. As they put it, His age, He's already got NFL experience and he's the best QB on the market including the draft by a long shot. It would be a lesser player then a Peppers.

Say Peppers, Jake Delhomme / or Matt Moore and a 1st would be right around what they would be looking at, or two first and a QB to replace Cutler with at least for a season. Which he isn't even close to being worth that. It's not even close imo, There's no way in hell Cutler is worth two first plus another player.

I'm gonna miss having vajayjay to kick around. Whoever gets him will have a high risk/reward tag. If his mental game catches up to the physical skills, Merry Christmas. But if he wants to be a Toys R Us kid, then I foresee him imploding a team.

To the dickhead moderator that deleted my April Fools thread, come on now. Kurb's allowed to post unfunny and obvious lies and it gets stickied yet my thread gets deleted after two minutes?

You can report any post you disagree with. Please explain the thread/post you are talking about.

i honestly think they'd rather have peppers an matt moore over peppers an jake....jake's cap would kill that trade in a second an like some have suggested, they could draft a QB with their first...then we could trade/cut/ or keep jake...an have tons of cap to sign decent FA's an then play this year an if we suck, we can rebuild thru the draft with a decent cap figure next year....id do the trade

Am i the only one who thinks getting cutler and signing Torrie Holt would make our offense better than the 07 pats?

No...your the majority actually.

There are a few that disagree very strongly.

Although, I dont think we should get Holt. I am hoping Jarret will come around this year

      It appears that he sees things differently than the QB and OC, so Cam's advice is spot on. It isn't about number of targets, it's about quality of targets. Trust and being on the same page. BY doesn't know how to anticipate what XL is doing. And XL doesn't like where BY is placing passes. One on one film study would go a long way. More for BY than XL though. He has to adjust to XL. I really don't think XL can adjust on the fly.

      If the team shows improvement, then he shouldn't be in danger of losing his job - even if the record doesn't reflect. This was a very young team (with a lot of new vet starters) that overperformed last season. Somebody's doing something right. Consistency is key with so much youth. And we're potentially looking at new starters at ILB and FS. Those are positions that take time to fully understand the defense. ILB calls the front 7. Safety calls the back 4. Injuries at WR and IOL killed the offense last season. Depth needs to be upgraded. Same with Edge. I think they would have won more games if Pat Jones doesn't go down early. Be smart with the roster and draft. Trade players for assets when it's time to pay them more than they're worth - yes, that includes BY if he doesn't make a pretty big jump. That's one of the many reasons Tillis is as important as anyone to the future of this team.
