A buddy forwarded this to me. The deal's over now -- but does anyone think this was worth it?

For $40 you get a "VIP Tailgating Party Pass" which includes...

  • 4 beers
  • big screen TV to watch the game (for those of you who don't have tix to the game itself)
  • Chairs
  • parking lot tailgating games, like Cornhole
  • a fully catered buffet from "a local Charlotte vendor")

It all takes place where you "chill in a warehouse within walking distance of BOA".

I've been to the Huddle tailgate before - imagine what they'd be able to do at $40 per person.... :smilewinkgrin:

And that was $40/per person! Imagine what you could do for $80 per couple.

Even if you pay $20 for a primo parking spot, you're still left with a $60 budget:

* $8 for a 6-pack

* $4 for 12-pack of Diet Coke

* $2 for bag of ice

* $15 for the Family Fried Chicken Bucket from KFC (or Bojangles, or HT, or wherever)

* Another $11 for assorted chips, snacks, dips, napkins, etc

* Chairs, tent, Cornhole, etc all previously purchased, so no issue there.

You're still left with $20 in your pocket to buy a beer at BOA. What could they possible be ripping you off with for their $40 per person?

    • I agree with OP notion, QBs always get credited for game winning drives even if they do minimal. Just last night Caleb got credited for a GE drive when they basically ran the ball the whole drive and only had to go 36 yards.   And there are drives where Bryce could of had a game winning drive if not for a Legette drop vs Philly or a Chubba fumble vs Tampa
    • You are actually, genuinely comparing Bryce to Jimmy fuging Pickles? Jimmy accounted for 3 touchdowns in his 10 starts in 2010. In Bryce’s 10 games post benching last year, he accounted for 20 touchdowns. Jimmy threw three touchdowns in 2010. Three. Bryce has thrown 10 touchdowns through 6 games. He is currently on track to throw for 3300 yards, 28 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Wtf are we even talking about anymore. I mean seriously
    • Tepper? The guy that directs the coaches towards goals that he set for them… that guy. He is the one.    I don’t think he ever was going to be expelled from class, they had him come in for garbage time maybe the 2nd week he was benched.  I will say this. People said he wasn’t under pressure the last part of the year when he did better, but he was fighting for his career and that’s pressure. And he saved his career too. I don’t reject him for those kinds of things I reject him for the physical things. I have always brought it down to he has slim margin for error and has to be perfect. People with the tool set have a little fatter margin for error. Why make it harder on yourself? Got nothing to do with hating him.  I am no statistician but game that margin thing out a lot and see how that works.
