going back over his history means little at this stage in his career......again, there is a reason no one was interested in Kasay when Carolina cut him.

He got a job only after a starter went down.

He has missed more kicks thus far than Mare and is on pace to miss more from under 50 than at any point in his career....by a fair margin.

Kasay's numbers this year only are better b/c of opportunity to kick more. He and Mare are comparable NOW. Kasay would have costs us a roster spot.

I fail to see how you blew anything out of the water.

He didn't don't worry.

Have their been injuries at WR?? If their were I bet you would see them play a few downs at WR. Not to mention they are listed on the depth chart as wr.

If Baker got hurt anytime in the last few years llyod nor Kasey could punt.

A lot of you are hypocrites last few years we all had a problem with 2 roster spots spent on kickers. Now oh it's not a problem using 2 roster spots on Kicker!!!

Karl Hankton played some offense for us and Kyle was the long snapper and a back-up LB. Llyod did nothing but kick-off. If he could make a a FG Kasey would have been gone 3 years ago. If he could punt then Baker would have been gone.

Baker has YEARS left....Kasay didn't. Foolish to ditch Baker to give Kasay one more pointless year.

I know it is hard to think big picture/long term here....and is more fun to dwell on his 1 Minny kick....but fan should.

Who meant more to us though? Kasay was not only a pretty good kicker, he was also a great lockeroom presence.

So should we have kept Kasey until he was in a wheel chair for how great he was in the lockeroom. We needed the roster spot move on.

As bad as this team is I can't say we really needed the roster spot. Really don't think it makes any difference.

We could get rid of the FB, WR, hell we could teach someone else to long snap. I understand not wanting to have 2 kickers, but I don't see how having the extra roster spot helped us. We pretty much waste a bunch of roster spots already.

You haven't notice we needed like 9 LB this year and 9 Olinemen? Having Lloyd and Kasey on the roster was becoming more of a problem then a benefit. JMO.
