South Park renewed for 3 more seasons

Comedy Central has renewed Trey Parker and Matt Stone's South Park for three more seasons, keeping the animated comedy on the air through 2016.

The deal for three additional seasons, which would have cable's longest-running animated series hitting a 20th season, means Parker and Stone will continue on with the show, continuing to write, direct and edit every episode.

"The collective genius of Matt and Trey knows no bounds," said Michele Ganeless, president of Comedy Central. "Week after week and season after season they continue to surprise and delight South Park fans, and that includes all of us here at Comedy Central. We're thrilled that the adventures of Stan, Kyle, Kenny and Cartman will continue through 2016."

"Comedy Central has been our home for 15 years and we love working there," said Parker and Stone in a joint statement. "South Park is a blast and we can't wait to make more."

obviously other networks have canned other tv shows but fox is notorious for it. It's been proven that the network is run by a bunch of fuging idiots is business suits.
