Lions signed Ugo Chinasa to PS yesterday...

Lol and we have Jerome Felton who was in Detroit longer than one month like Chinasa.

Us knowing their offense> > > > them knowing two measly plays on defense.

It's just always funny to me when a team signs a player (especially one they don't need) the week they're facing an opponent for whom that player played. There's nothing wrong with it, it's just funny.

Teams are paranoid, don't underestimate their desire to scout an opponent, even a seemingly inferior opponent. This is one of those "must win" games for the Lions, they don't want to leave anything to chance.

I think video tape would tell them all they need to know at this point in the season. We are what we are.

The tape won't tell you everything... Chinasa was around long enough to know our defensive playbook pretty well and to practice against our offense, that makes him a valuable (cheap) asset heading into the game on Sunday. Teams are always looking for an edge.

I doubt he knows our defense well, the playbook was pretty hard to grasp even Beason admitted it was complicated.

    • If Henderson just got a concussion and will possibly/probably now miss next week as well, gotta think missing 2 games of stats at this point of the year might knock him out as he was only just entering the discussion the last few weeks anyways.  Same goes for Judkins going down today too, and Dart's god awful game likely removes him from the conversation as well. It will be interesting to see how the voters compare T-Mac and Egbuka if they end up with stats that are nearly identical. Egbuka burst onto the scene and put up the bulk of his stats early in the year when Baker was playing like the MVP front runner.  While T-Mac was just more consistent throughout the course of the full season (ex. Egbuka has 8 games of 42 yards or less, T-Mac has 4 of them, while T-Mac still scored 3 TDs in those 4 games, where Egbuka only scored 1 TD in his 8). It would be a shame if they put too much weight on the final game of the season if that ends up being the division decider, as I think T-Mac has had the better SEASON while Egbuka had a better peak output during that first month or so but way cooled off since. Maybe Warren goes off in the last 3 games (they still play tomorrow), but it does seem to be down to T-Mac and Egbuka right now.
    • Mitchell Evan’s put a block on someone that he drove them all the way out of bounds and to the bench. He absolutely destroyed the guy. He’s gonna be a beast for us if he keeps that up.
    • Yall... stop taking a sample size and projecting a role player into a permanent starter cuz he had a decent year after what, 5? Come on
