Cutler to bears!!!!!!!!

I do remember the sorriest corner in the league deal with Hobbs...I didn't like that at all, sorry it had slipped my mind.

The words that were thrown around after that loss to the Pats after the 14-2 season is one of those things that I bet everyone of those Chargers could take back. That was a shame.

Rivers' had to grow up, and I think he did that over the course of the 2007 season, with his graduation being that seasons playoffs. In 2008 he didn't have any of those issues rear their ugly head, he finally seems like he gets the on field mental stuff as well as the physical part of the game.

Funny that the ones who caused all those problems in 2006 and 07 are all gone. Florence, McCree, W. Phillips.....

It was hard for me to believe that a Schottenheimer team would do that (in 2005) I have always respected Marty a whole lot. Still do.

Ahh Rivers didn't do any of that in 2008? That's a good thing. I do think it perturbed Norv a little bit. I recall his commenting publicly on that whole trash talking with the Colts fans deal in the 2007 playoffs.

Nah, can't really remember an instance in 2008.

Norv commented on it, that he wanted Rivers' to remain firey, but to start biting his tongue a little more.

As for Schotty, I can't believe there is not a team out there that is all over him. Talk about turning around programs....he's one of the best.

Unfortunately, I doubt Marty returns. I saw Marty fairly recently on some NFL Films thing and he pretty much said he's done. Seems like the NFL is going away from the older guys though anyway. It's too bad he didn't get even one SB ring because that probably would have made him close to (but probably still not) HOF caliber as a HC.

But wait...he does have a house in NC doesn't he?!?!?! :D
