Desean Jackson is soft. I mean fluffly cuddly cakes cotton snuggles soft. He's the opposite of Smitty in that regard. You don't come tougher than Smitty. Jackson does have swag, but also way too much attitude. Lots of talent, but not a whole lot of toughness. We can do better.

Smitty would punch Jackson in the face during the 1st week of training camp. If a WR wants to come here, so be it, he can do it on the cheap side. A WR would be a sexy pick up and make the analysts cream themselves over our potential offense, but until we build a stable defense we will not be in contention. We need OL and defensive help first.

From a free agent list for next year ..

DeAngelo Williams (CAR) – The emergence of Mike Goodson and Jonathan Stewart could easily allow the Panthers to let Williams walk. While Williams does seem interested in testing the market for his final big contract, the Panthers also seem interested in matching any offer made elsewhere. If rumors are true, the Broncos will make a push for Williams and the fit seems very reasonable.

Guys I am normally not a fan of free agency because I typically think you overpay for players that aren't that great, but I think we will have some good opportunities in the next couple of years because of Cam. Guys finally will want to come here and play (like Vick factor) but we need to be very selective and pick the right players for our scheme.

We are 6th in the NFL on offense, focus on DT, CB, and time to start facing the reality that our Oline isn't elite any longer.

You're going to get a lot of players who want to play with Newton so teams are going to franchise left and right but if I had to pick one WR it would be Bowe.
