Anyone carry a pocket pistol?

I have the Ruger LCP .380, with 7 hollow points. Fits in the front pocket of my suit pants. I have shot it a bunch, never had a problem (knock on wood). The case I have is neat, the back part is shaped like square like a wallet, and it is rugged leather, so that the shape it makes in your pocket doesnt look like a gun.

This is the smallest gun I have carried, and I have carried a few guns. It packs a nice punch with the .380 hollow point, and it 7 shots. The gun is no thicker than a blackberry, but slightly heavier.

I would recommend this over the Taurus, even though you get an extra clip with the Taurus. Best $400 you can spend on a conceal.

Two things.

1) Make sure you take the Carry and Conceal class!

Truth, and make sure you know when/where you can carry.

2) You don't end up like Plaxico! "I had my gun in my sweatpants and shot myself in the thigh!"

If you are carrying a gun like a thug, then....well I will just leave it at that.

I was looking at getting a Smith & Wesson Bodyguard 380 to carry around all of the time, does anyone have this gun or have any suggestions on another gun? Thanks...

Don't try to show off with it... it is designed to carry 6 in the magazine and 1 in the chamber. This model will fire without a magazine.

I've read that some models have trouble with the hammer. I'd go with something else.

Don't have to worry about showing off here, its all about protection for my family if the situation ever came up. I here you with the fire without a magazine in it but it does have a manual saftey switch on it, and from what I understand the saftey does not slide by accident, you actually have to put some force behind it...

I did alot of reading last night and most the reviews were great but I want to make sure I buy the right one...

    • Maybe a bit of a homer take but I can't give us a grade lower than A.   Freeling was arguably the best LT prospect in the draft.  His athletic ability is off the chart and at 6'7" that can move.  It was a no brainer pick.   Hunter's key word is Violence. Putting him next to Brown should scare an offensive coordinator. These two give Scourton and Phillips plenty of chances to get one on one opportunities. Brazzell, another tall receiver with sprinter speed.  Our WR room is filled with tall talented WR.  Brazzell is going to give us a WR that can take to roof off the defense.  Basically Jimmy Horn with size. W. Lee III has a nickname of the Blanket. (heard this on the Beleav podcast with J. Stewart)  What a great name.  A great value in the 5th round. Hecht A strong, fast and extremely smart center. Many had him listed as the best center in the draft.  He's most likely a starter sooner than later. Wheatley A good safety in round 5.  Someone who could see playing time.   Kuwatch  I love this pick.  At minimum he will be a key piece on special teams and with some good coaching he'll see some packages where he'll play.  His down piece is he doesn't stay up in the running game.  Good coaching will fix this.  He reminds me a bit of A.J. Klein.   All these picks were great value.  I believe everyone of them were graded higher than the pick we took them.   Dan Morgan is IMO doing a great job turning this team into a good team with great depth.
    • Moton is a class act.
    • Sure, that is possible. That’s what, an extra 55 yards a game on average and 7 more TDs? What if he’s just 15th?  I imagine they would extend him in that situation due to the belief that he’ll keep trending up. maybe a 3 year contract to prove he can be top 10? Sounds like a Tepper plan.
