Starting a weekly blog need feedback on intro.

I think its funny that your handle is SexBeerVideoGames and you are going to do a blog on video games but not beer or sex.

No one cares about intros, keep it under 8 seconds and get on with it. Not making it private would be a good start.

Well on the note of beer and sex I was thinking of ideas to implement them into the weekly blog. Like beer of the week or a weekly beer tasting and then possibly a girl of the week. Also keeping the intro shorter may be a good idea. Thanks.

For the most part, successful blogs specialize in something....seems like your blog will be all over the map, and likely not going to be popular to anyone outside of your mom and dad.

I would specialize in something, like sports video games...or Ale beer...or movies staring Jessica Biel....

I'm not sure what you want to do....

Do u want to try to gain alot of readers?

Do u want to vent to the world your opinions on things?

Do you want to influence people?

Are you working on a project?

Do u have a motive for blogging?

I like to voice my opinion. This isn't ment to bring fame in any way. People usually listen when I say things and my blog (when I used it) was fairly successful. Plus I'm looking for an excuse to use my camera.

    • this     I never cease to be amazed at the number of people who will run up their blood pressure to get to the grocery store 30 seconds faster or are racing to get to work like it won’t be there at 8:02.   The only thing I’ve ever done that I think added more years to my life besides quitting smoking, was to learn to go with the flow behind the wheel.
    • The term you're looking for is "malinger(ed)", and he didn't.  I'm not sure why Panthers fans act like jaded ex girlfriends.  The dude is clearly injury prone as his time in San Fransico also proves. It's not like he got to San Fran and stopped having problems.
    • My long and rambling post:   The guy is all heart, and I wouldn’t be surprised if he came back even better next year. He’s exactly the guy you lock up. The money won’t ever change the way he plays.  It was a big fumble, but what 1,000 yard back fumbles once in an entire season?  Pride. This team is FINALLY seeing guys who obviously take the game very seriously. Hunt, Chuba, Thielen, Brown, Horn (CB), Coker, Bryce (IMHO). Bye bye, Spider-Man. I don’t see these dudes being OK with teammates half-assing practice or in games. I can see Brown and Horn coming over to talk to somebody.  Good team? Ummm, maybe, but will still likely lose more close games than they win unless this last draft turns in to LOB part 2. That’s a stretch.  Pretty good/decent team. Yes. They finished the season as a pretty good team. I know I sound like a broken record harping back to it, but going in to ATL and putting a 40 burger on them en route to an OT win. A bad Panthers team would have had their brakes beaten off. We’ve seen it.  Rose colored glasses on and bonging a 40 of hopium: There are watershed moments that occur that change the course of franchises, both good and bad. If Fox doesn’t pull Rodney at halftime, the epic journey that was 2003 never happens. On the negative side, Cam taking that one hit from Watt was the end of any and all Panthers relevancy and we’ve been the biggest losers in all of pro sports as a result. Watershed moments. LOB draft. Vinny goes down and the goat is born.  Will the ATL game be the spark that this franchise has desperately needed? Could it be that they hit the mega million jackpot with Princley and Scourton as eat QBs for breakfast? Sure would be nice having 2 all-pro edge guys on the cheap for the next 4 years.  A lot of unknowns, but at least it actually feels  fun again.
