Panthers make trade!!! NOT PEPPERS!

Ok, so if the Panthers work out "whatever" with the cap situation, and we can still keep Kyle, and cut this guy, we don't owe them the pick......right? or wrong?

Anybody?

Kyle is gone, period. Nothing we can do to get him back. He is simply gone. He was an unrestricted free agent, we let him go and he signed elsewhere. Options are, find a free agent to sign, use someone from this team, (there are several who can) or draft one. The Panthers chose to pick up a free agent...

Not according to the article, or am I still missing something here?

Kyle, who is an unrestricted free agent, spent the last eight seasons with the Panthers and never had a botched snap in the regular season. It's still possible the team could re-sign Kyle at a later date, but right now the team has no money to work with under the salary cap because of the nearly $17 million they have tied up in franchise player Julius Peppers.

No, it's more like a DUMB elephant in the room. The Pep and cap situation is a given.

Mintal said Kyle was gone, signed to another team.....I simply posted, NOT ACCORDING to the article. Maybe my reading comprehension isn't as great as yours is, but I could have SWORN that is what the article said.

Maybe you can prove it otherwise oh Gay Elephant lover.............

The article is wrong, (a week if I'm not mistaken). There is a limit of time that a team has to re-sign a player after he signs with another team and that time is over. Bad reporting. Bad reporting does not translate into truth, but I understand your confusion...

Thanks, I appreciate that. Who did he sign with, and when, do you know?

That article is very misleading if that is the case.

He signed with Tennessee a month ago or so, don't remember the exact date, but it's been a while...

Thanks, I had no idea he was already gone. That article didn't help me believe that either. Terrible reporting, yet I bought into it. lol

Have a good one.....and thanks.
