I would love if we could trade Peppers for a high enough pick to snag Orakpo, but if Pep stays Id be more than happy seeing Larry English go to us in the 2nd round.

I'm not completely sold on any of the 1st round DEs this year. If we trade Peppers, I hope we grab one of the top DTs, either BJ Raji or Peria Jerry.

i dont think are 1st will be that high..to get raji.and the bucs will get peria.or ATL..if we get a 1st IDK who to get...all i know is i want jarron gilbert,sean smith and sidbury but all these guys colud be in the 2nd

If we get a pick in the 12-18 range we should be able to get Jerry. If we get a late 1st I wouldn't mind trading back to a team with 2 2nd rounders and going for Ron Brace as well as the guys you mentioned.

I'm just wondering why Carolina hasen't tried slapping Charles Johnson at OLB to add some depth as he never sees any time at the DE spot. Johnson seems like he could add a breath of fresh air for your backup spot atleast. Guy has a good motor and size.

he saw a lot of time this year..at DE and DT and had 6 sacks..i dont think thats bad for a 3rd down pass rusher

yea but these guys are in the dirt 4-3 players as well. I think your going to see a few 10+ sack guys come out of this draft.

What I'm saying though is Johnson could add a good dimention to spell Diggs on 3rd down to help with the pass rush. It might be his ability to cover is why they wouldn't try to experiment with him much though.
