He should be honored in some way other than an invitation to retire as a Panther. I say retire his number. No one wants to wear #17 anyway. It is a pooty number.

He's just a QB people. He set no records and won no Superbowls. you need to do stuff like that for Jerseys and Statues.

07 he looked to off to his best year of his career......then the elbow popped. He should of never comeback from the surgery. No one has ever successfully done it.

He was a great guy and one of my favs till the end, but he was a slightly above average QB that in the end hurt more than he helped (blame much of that on staff). You dont get statues for being a gamemanager who liked to throw jumpballs to #89.
