not a big modification and it's not all that different than the recent mods that were done.

just because it hasn't been officially announced doesn't mean it's not legit.

seems pretty believable or at least plausible to me.

I like it. The original logo just looks too 90's and tame. There are some things I hate about the new one, but I like it being more rounded and fierce. The right eye kinda looks like it has a scar through it like a bad guy in movies. I can dig it.

The more and more I look at it, the more and more I love it. You guys need to remember, the non-glove rendition is just a fan pulling the logo off the glove and screwing around with it to make it fit. Shape probably isn't accurate.

Only things I'd change:

1) Thin out the jaw a tad.

2) Make nose and whiskers match teeth color

3) bring the black all the way across. No blue corner.

Other than that, I think it's a great modernization.

If the winking eye is still there when we see the "official" version, should it exist, then that may need some tweaking too- but the eye doesn't look bad on the glove.

Three things that could be tweaked:

1. Steroid neck. Probably stuck with this because blah blah if you squint and it's really dark in the room it resembles the outline of both states blah blah.

2. Right eye. Why is kitty winking?

3. The more I look the less I like the blue collagen lip.

These are all minor and I do think it's a massive upgrade over what we had.

Edit: CatsGrowl beat me to two of these. Also makes a good point that this is a trace from the gloves pic, so probably not 100% accurate.

      I'm more impressed with the UDFA that the guys they have drafted in the first the last 2 years. A whole lot of prove it is still needed before any improvement should be talked about seriously.

      While I don't believe its a must win, (we have been better on the road this post season) it is definitely A NEED TO WIN the longer this series goes the more pronounced the Canes advantage on rest and health will be! If we hold serve at home in games 1 and 2 guaranteeing a 6 game minimum series for them if we lose the road games..... by the game 4 and 5 I expect them to be beat they have played A LOT OF HOCKEY the last three years, they have MINIMAL rest off a more physical than one might have expected series vs the leafs.... you know Tampa took their pound of flesh in round 1 from them. Combine all that with the fact that even though this year's canes squad isn't as talented as last years this IS a better squad than the one they swept last time that had McKenzie Mckeathern on line 1 Turbo with a broken hand a banged uo and eventually concussed Slavin (and even though it was a sweep 6 OTS and 4 1 goal losses is hardly dominant)  This year Bob hasn't been superman (hes probably gonna still have a great save percentage agiast us just a side effect of our style) Thatchuk is maybe 50% (3 game winners agiast us) their defense no longer has Gudas and several other downgrades.  While the Canes have a healthy and performing Svechnikov along with other big guys to counteract florida like Carrier, Jankowski, Robinson.   I by know means think it will happen but I either see this as a low scoring dog fight or a series were the canes surprise and end up dominating.
