He should cash out now. I was reading something a few months ago that back in the day (2003 I think) someone tried to buy myspace for 500 million or so. They said thanks but no. now its worth like 10 million or so dollars. Also during that same time facebook was worth around 50 mil.

They did sell it for $500 million. It's Murdoch who lost. The rest of them cashed out.

I really don't see Facebook going the way of MySpace honestly.

social media bubble is going to be the fad that has no end? like a yoyo, vw bug or etchasketch? Going to defy time or logic you say?

Facebook in America peaked in 07-09, its got 6 years left MAX...

Social media will never go away. Facebook may fade away in popularity, but social media itself is here to stay. Facebook has such a stranglehold on social media that I just don't see anything replacing it anytime soon. Google Plus is the only legitimate competitor right now and it has a looooong way to go to catch up.

Im betting most people will get media overload and start dialing it back. Thus forcing the followers to do the trendy thing and dump some of their habits. This only applies to recreational media, business media and the time savings it brings is too valuable.

Back in my college days Fbook was an awesome way for college kids to reconnect with high school friends and message sluts they met at the bar before they passed out and forgot their names.

Not only that but the awesome stalking and openness of girls on the first picture app was glorious.

    • Both things can be true - Bryce has been clutch for the most part - making throws when they're needed.  But this last game was won by the defense at the end.  I love that Bryce has kept the perspective and never fell for the hype or the hate.
    • I think Rod will be around a while longer, though these last three games hurt his stock.  It appears that for these games with nice leads the opponent scores and then the Canes overreact and don’t stick with their game. I think it’s a confidence issue. With Bussi in net they were spoiled by him making great plays and when he let a goal in when the other team made a push, or anytime Freddie is in net and the opponent scores they fall apart and instead of offense the Canes get defensive, overreact and make mistakes. Is there a sports psychologist in the house? Medic!!!
    • The difference being we've won 8 games this season - so it's not rookies contributing on a bad team, it's rookies contributing on a winning team.
