what happened to cause the outbreak is the least important thing in the series

spoiler: everyone will stfu about the story's pacing when rick gets his hand cut off, dale is eaten by cannibals, carl shoots another kid after the kid kills his younger brother, rick starts talking to lori on a telephone he carries in his backpack after her and the baby are killed by the man that cuts off rick's hand. also carl eventually gets shot in the face and survives too. and morgan pops back up later, but his son is now a zombie and he keeps him as a pet. now stfu about the character development because it sets the stage for poo to go deeper into hell than you can ever imagine

i hope you didn't read that because none of it may happen. but it all happens in the comics.

They already did a flashback of the hospital when he was in the coma that setup how things were when Rick woke up.

Technical explanations of zombie outbreaks are doomed to failure and really not the point of a zombie movie or TV show. I would love to see giant army/zombie battles as a occasional thing, but it's not going to happen well on a TV budget. I['m far more interested to find out whats going to happen to Ricks wife and the guys in the bar at this point anyways, what a great setup.

i really didn't care for that flashback of shane pulling up to inform lori about rick's condition. now that darabont is gone, hopefully all of that bullshit is too

i really just hope that carol ends up intentionally feeding herself to a zombie in the prison because lori and rick don't want to have a kinky 3 way marriage. also i hope they throw in the sick fug that kills the kids in the prison too. oh, and i hope tyreese gets a chance to beat his daughter's boyfriend to death after he fails to follow through on their suicide pact even though she kills herself

    • Jake in his prime was a gutsy QB. But just like with even someone like Cam. Father time is undefeated. It's very unfortunate we have a guy who is only 24 years old that has an equivalent arm to that. Absolutely blows my mind that our brain trust lacked the basic common sense to value arm talent when making a massive trade with ramifications for years to come. Unforgivable incompetence.
    • Jake, to me, will always hold a special place in my heart.  I really feel like for his era, he deserved way more love than he got, and should’ve had more than his one Pro Bowl.  He was a gamer with an underrated rocket arm. but let me tell you, after his Tommy John surgery, when he came back, I can’t remember who it was against, but it think it was a division game, he threw a ball that was supposed to be a throw away, as I think he was under pressure, and that poo floated forever and died right at the boundary where a defender ran over and picked it off.  One of the worst throws I ever saw.  His arm just wasn’t the same after the injury and surgery.  All that to say, that’s what almost every Bryce throw to the sidelines looks like to me.
    • And again, when watching him in college he had one distinct trait that I feel makes a franchise QB - on those plays when everything breaks down around him, he creates one on his own.  He doesn’t rely on or need everyone else.  That play last night on the final drive where he was getting sacked and threw it to Diggs before his knee hit the ground?  He does similar things all the time.  Mahomes, Allen, Lamar, etc., they all do it.  It’s what made Cam so special. but we picked a guy that’s the opposite of that.  He desperately needs someone else to make a play for him because he can’t.  Even that play yesterday on 4th down to Horn.  That wasn’t a great pass.  The defender was late and came down to make a play in the ball and Bryce threw it high and outside where Horn had to leave his feet and really use strong hands to catch it.  We relied on a 5’9” rookie playing in his first pro game to make THAT catch at THAT time bc of the early turnovers and a not great throw.  Crazy.
