Don't be surprised when Carolina goes Offensive Line in the first..

Me too. I want Brockers, but maybe this is the smart pick. I do not think DeCastro, however. If we go G, which is pretty deep in this draft, it will be later. I even think Wharton could be cut for cap reasons, but we still have Schwartz or Bell at RG and Hangartner, Garry Williams, Ziemba etc who could play LG. If we are cutting Wharton, we have no real backup LT and Otah needs to change his position to IR. Even if Otah has a full season, are we going to pay him to return on a second contract? I doubt it.

You protect Cam Newton before you do anything else. I want Defense too, but you are drafting for the next 10 years, not just next year.

wharton will not be cut.

rule #2 on this website

any article from walterfootball does not hold any credence

and it's only no.2 because the no.1 rule on this website is that any article from bleacherreport does not hold any credence

Walter is a former scout. Bleacher Report is like the GED of diplomas.

And if Wharton is not cut or restructured, something subjective is going on. He sucked on pass plays. He has a good reputation, but he is worth a fraction of his salary.

If we haven't found a replacement for Smith, why do they think we're gonna get a replacement for Gross? I seriously doubt it.

Spoken like someone who knows ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about football and free agency.

Take a look this year at the WR's that are in FA. There are ALWAYS top WR's that make it to FA and are available.

Top Left Tackles NEVER make it to FA. They are widely considered the 2nd most important position on the team....being QB. As such, they are paid a high salary and are an extremely hot commodity. When a team gets one, they never let them go during their prime.

Yup. Left Tackles are as precious and hard to come by as franchise QBs. Even if one somehow made it to free agency, which is something I cannot recal, he would cost a ton.

Does he work for the Panthers. Does he work for every NFL team?? Just because he is a former scout doesn't mean sh!t honestly. He knows nothing about what each team is planning on doing. It is just his opinion. I can form my opinion too just like everyone else in the world. It isn't that hard to do.

But, his opinion is based on years of being an NFL Scout and the league relationships that he has built.

Unlike anyone's on here (yours and mine included)...which comes from that smelly thing that you pull out of your ass.:D
