Excited about draft day?

I am. I can not wait for all these Peppers threads to go away when he does not get traded. I can not believe the infatuation with one player.

What years draft were you most excited about going into it. I don't care about the out come. What draft had you excited? Mine was no doubt the 2002. After the 01 season I needed a boost of excitement. Picking #2 over all helped with that. I also liked the #2 pick in the second round because typically there is still first round talent.

I'm definitely not as excited as in years past. I haven't even filled out my own mock draft, like I do every year.

I will watch the draft, but I might even take a break and skip the second half of the first round.

It is kind of a downer not having the first rounder, but I will watch the whole two rounds at least. Both networks coverage. I won't commit to the second day yet.

Unlike in years past, this year I could really care less, for a combination of reasons.

The Peppers saga for one, and damn New England having 11 picks to sit up there all fat a pretty to make a move in any way they see fit just pisses me off.

As far as those saying they will be glad when the draft is over because it will put an end to the Peppers threads/saga........don't hold your breath on it.

There is really not all that much to be excited about. We had this year's draft last year and did pretty good. I would take our 2nd first round pick last year and his one year of NFL experience over anybody in this year's draft.

It is not an "infatuation" with one player....it is that this one player is significantly impacting the Panthers ability to do anything during the FA period.
